Eberle's Barbera is one of our most food friendly wines and pairs nicely with a variety of dishes. We suggest a venison and mushroom ragout served over a cheesy polenta, or a traditional risotto porcini. Of course, you can never go wrong serving this with almost any tomato-based pasta dish, from a meaty lasagna to spaghetti with Polpetta alla Veneziana (Italian meatballs.)
