This wine is aged 15 months in barrel with 30% American Oak.

Tasting Notes

Rich plum and blackberry flavor coat your palate. The dark fruit tangles with the luscious vanilla and cedar notes on each sip. Hints of fig and sarsaparilla linger on the finish. This acid-driven wine with fine tannin will be a perfect pairing partner with any Italian dish!

Food Pairings

Try the Barbera with a sausage flatbread pizza, smoked wild boar or mushroom risotto. You cannot go wrong with paring our Barbera with anything with truffles. We recommend fondue with truffles.
