2022 Cellar Club Sangiovese
Our wine undergoes a meticulous aging process, spending 15 months in a blend of 25% new French oak and 18% new American oak barrels. This combination enhances the wine's complexity, imparting subtle notes of vanilla and spice from the French oak, complemented by the sweet, toasty flavors from the American oak.
Tasting Notes
Our Cellar Club Bootjack Sangiovese is crafted from a historic vineyard within the east side of the Geneseo District, where the ancient riverbed meets flats of calcareous soil and rolling hills of sandy loam. This unique terroir imparts a rich complexity, with vibrant notes of cherry, red plum, and hints of spice.

Our Sangiovese pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes. Its bright acidity and medium body make it an excellent match for tomato-based pastas, grilled meats, and aged cheeses.
