2019 Cellar Club Tempranillo
This is the last Patricia Dianne Vineyard wine we will ever create. The vines have been removed from the property. The fruit was very minimally crushed, giving this wine a hint of carbonic style attributes.It fermented warmer to increase darker aromatics and burn off gamey characteristics.10% saignee to
increase concentration with a 7-day fermentation. This wine was pressed before it had completed fermentation and finished in the barrel. Only racked once. Aged 15 months in American Oak Barrels.
Our Tempranillo is sourced from the Patricia Diane Vineyard. Dick and Claudia Woodland, partners of Eberle Winery, own this vineyard making this an exclusive club-only wine. This wine has intricate flavors and aromas that complement each other, making this a favorite of our members. On the palate,
you will taste ripe fig and cherry blossoms upfront. Hints of red licorice, freshly picked lavender and wet slate to linger with the fruit you taste upfront. This lush and fruity wine has fine tannins and a dry finish.
Eberle's Tempranillo can be pretty easy to pair food with it thanks to the complexity. Tempranillo can boost flavors in spicy foods making it an ideal companion for Mexican food such as Chile Rellenos. Try with linguica or smoked dishes. Also, try it with a thin-crusted Margarita pizza.
