2024 Rare & Reserve Alta Colina Syrah

High altitude and open exposure allow the fruit to reach excellent maturity while retaining vibrant acidity and balance, aided by cooling Pacific air. The wine was aged for four months in a mix of 35% new French and Hungarian oak, then transferred to ceramic vessels for eleven months to preserve freshness and highlight its natural minerality.
Tasting Notes
Brooding, bold, and savory, this Syrah opens with layered aromas of dried blueberry and blackberry, lifted by delicate violets and a thread of sweet tobacco. Rich and structured on the palate, it carries dark fruit and earthy depth into a long, compelling finish.
Food Pairings
Pairs beautifully with rich, savory dishes such as braised beef, duck with plum sauce, or grilled pork ribs. The wines bold structure and dark fruit complement slow-cooked meats and sweet-savory glazes, enhancing both depth and balance on the plate.
