2000 Steinbeck Syrah
The 2000 growing and harvest season was normal, starting with a long, cool spring. Temperatures warmed toward the end of May and remained consistent throughout the growing season. Fall allowed a few weeks of additional hang time as temperatures cooled but the weather remained dry, yielding very nice, high quality, and complex fruit.
