The Steinbeck Vineyard is now one of the oldest Syrah vineyards in the US, own-rooted and low yielding. The Syrah went through a 15-day fermentation, 20% whole berries, 3% co-fermentations with Viognier. Aged in 15 % French, 10% American & 10% Hungarian Oak for 15 months.

100% Steinbeck. 15 months in barrel. 15% French, 10% American, and 10% Hungarian. Blueberry, blackberry, red raspberry, plum, and generous amounts of French, American, and Hungarian oak. White pepper, savory, earthy, sweet tobacco, and violets. Balanced with a mouth-coating grip, medium tannins, and juicy. Pairs well-braised beef, duck with plum sauce, and grilled pork ribs. 1,439cs
