2024 Syrah
Crafted in a Côte-Rôtieinspired style, this Syrah is built on French clones 383 and 174 for depth, structure, and aromatic lift. A touch of1.5% estate-grown Viognier was co-fermented
during processing, enhancing floral expression and midpalate finesse. The wine was matured in a thoughtful oak program featuring 35% new French, Hungarian, and
American oak, adding subtle spice, texture, and complexity while preserving varietal purity.
Tasting Notes
A richly expressive Syrah with layered aromas of dried blueberry and ripe blackberry, lifted by violet florals. On the palate, dark fruit depth is balanced by a smooth, sweet tobacco
nuance, adding warmth and elegance to a long, savory finish.
Food Pairings
This Syrah pairs beautifully with braised beef, where its dark fruit and savory depth echo the richness of slow-cooked meat. It also shines alongside duck with plum sauce, as the wines dried blueberry and violet notes complement the dishs sweet-savory
contrast. For something more robust, grilled pork ribs are an ideal match, with the wines blackberry fruit and sweet tobacco character standing up to smoky, caramelized flavors.
