1996 Steinbeck Syrah

1996 produced typical Paso Robles conditions of sunny, warm days followed by cool nights providing excellent growing conditions. Slightly warmer than usual late summer days resulted in an early harvest.

The 1996 is the second vintage from the Steinbeck Vineyard and it has created a rich Syrah worth aging. Classic Blueberry and earth aromas combine with oak and allspice notes to create a deeply layered wine.
