1997 Steinbeck Syrah

1997 was a textbook year in Paso Robles with an early bud break and cool spring that resulted in longer than normal hang time, giving the fruit a richness beyond expectation. An exceptional vintage!

Once again, the Steinbeck Vineyard has created a rich Syrah worth aging. Classic blueberry and earth aromas combine with oak and allspice notes. Higher levels of tannin and rich color have produced a bigger, bolder Syrah that is sure to please.
