1998 Steinbeck Syrah
1998 produced a year of El Nino, the growing season was warm, but the spring rains affected crop set, reducing total quantities by nearly 25%. Summer and fall normalized, allowing the grapes to completely ripen.
Classic blueberry, allspice, and earth aromas combine with mineral, oak, and saddle leather that are all enhanced by a solid tannin structure.
