2021 Estate Viognier
The Estate Viognier was propagated from Steinbeck Vineyard Viognier vines. We did this because we loved the fruit from the Steinbeck Vineyard and wanted to continue their legacy here on our Estate! Lees are stirred twice a week for 3 months.It is 54% neutral French Oak and 46% Stainless steel.
Our Viognier displays aromas of tropical fruits and ripe honeydew. This medium-bodied white has notes of tangerine with subtle hits of ginger on the palate. The sweet kiwi and litchi flavors join the lively briny acidity to create a balanced wine.
This medium-bodied Viognier pairs well with a variety of cuisine. The bright acid will highlight seafood dishes such as sushi or grilled lobster.It would also complement spicy Pad Thai or carrot, butternut squash bisque (check out our website for the recipe).
